Huge, very fine head, off-white; honey-gold coloured beer, quite, and finely carbonated, full of UFO’s, super-flunky. Bitterish nose, whiff of tobacco and hops, then honey, lupuline-covered yeasts. Fiery burnt caramel taste, roasted sweet and slight bitterish. Lots of honey in the background. Alcohol, toast, biscuit or cake or caramel bar. Mango retronasal. Way too aggressive mouthfeel (both alcohol & burnt); medium bodied, some slickness. The honey aroma is unmistakable, but I’ve had much better honey beers. Not very drinkable.

Cloudy ammber with brief, cloudy head. Orangey aroma. Dusty, dry and fruity. Medium bodied with soft, rounded mouthfeel and notes of red berries. Discrete but complex.

An unclear golden beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of honey. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of honey, but also with light notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry and bitter finish where the honey note lingers.

Very slightly orangey-yellow, peach; yellowish luxurious, fine-bubbled head. Nose is very lightly orangey, no coriander. Taste yields pale malts, perfumey and a touch of lactic sourness. Medium-bodied. There's dryness, but only after a certain time. I'm slightly disappointed. It's a strong witbier - but coming from Silenrieux, I'd expected more.

Hazy blond color; wonderful creamy head, persistent. Excellent Triple, round mouthfeel, with a light sweetness, complemented by the bitter taste of honey; very light herbs and sour wood. A clear spicy character makes of this a pretty complex beer.

Pale gold; slim white head, lacey. Herbal, grassy even. Drying hay in summertime. Wheat-like acidity, spicey, but not as witbier, more pepperey. Light-to-medium bodied. If it were wheat, I'd say it has a typical dry, but at the same time sticky mouthfeel (gluten). It's maybe worse with spelt. Nice try, an off-road version (no pun intended, but gladly taken) of a Walloon wheatbeer.

This deep amber beer was pleasant but I seem to have missed the buckwheat somewhere. Other than that it was a beer that offered some complexity and substance. Not overly hoppy, it relies on it's malt chacteristics for its aroma and flavor. Quite drinkable and worth trying for something a little different.

Bottled, 1995 vintage. Mahogany colour. Fruity and lightly vinous with loads of caramel. Sweet, mild, rounded and butterscotchy with notes of almond. Good, but not very complex.

Dark amber beer, poor head. Nice malt aroma, sweet light liquorice. Rich body, malty, well balanced by bitterness; very light corky taste; a nice aftertaste of roasted malt, and some liquorice. Final pretty strong, not too much aromatic.

Amber ale. Malt aroma, wet paper. Strange roasted grains flavour, not barley like, that provides a strong body. Nice palate, much longer than Joseph, but still with the roasted note.
