Averagily large, frothy, light brown head, which is mostly diminishing. No lace. Red-brownish, clear body. Lots of particles of average size. Nose of cookies. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet finish. Lightly alcoholic. Fully bodied. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Nice aroma, but disappointing flavour.

This Belgiun Blonde pours a cloudy pale yellow with next to no head. Champaigne bubbles in the glass??? Not as strong in the yeast odour catagory as some other beers I’ve had from this country are though. Scents include dough, almost like a citric acid burn to the nose. Taste starts out a little sour and then through the yeast turns to pork by-products...weiners to be exact. A little bitter finish and still sours the palate after a couple of minutes or so. Not really into this one!

Light hazy orangem with a light white head, collapsing quickly . Light alcohol aroma with a touch of raising dough. Very lemony taste, tart and with an harsh unpleasant finish, which lingers too long....its almost metallic at the end. Body is decent.

Nice hazy amber colour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of malt and cherries. Medium-bodied; Malty flavour with nuts and cherries with a good caramel flavour. Overall, nice to try! I sampled this beer at Smokeless Joe’s after our May RB Party on 15-May-2004 in Toronto, Ontario.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden ale with a nice big head with better then average retention. Aroma is bit weak with some malt and yeast being noticeable. Taste is also a bit weak for a Belgian ale with a general lack of spices and only minor yeast flavour can be pick up. Body is also a bit thin. Overall, this is a very average Belgian Ale.

Bottle. Hazy amber-orange beer with a thin white head. Aroma of bubble gum, yeast, sweet malt and citrus. Flavors of light spice - clove and pepper, yeast, and malty sweetness. Slightly high carbonation. Not a strong flavor, but definately better as it warms. Dry crisp finish.

A hazy orange beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet spicy with coriander being most pronounced. The flavor is dry spicy - again with coriander being most dominant. The alcohol runs slightly but noticable over the tongue.

A dark undlear red beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet spicy with coriander being most dominant, but also roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of bread and coriander as well as other spices leading to a slightly dry end.

This poured slightly hazy dark brown with a creamy long lasting head. Decent lacing inside the glass. The aroma is typical Belgian yeast, malt, caramel and dried fruits. Smooth palate with malty sweetness and just a hint of bitterness. Just a touch of alcohol in the finish.
