Bottle. Brown red color. Aroma of coffee beans, toast and caramel. Taste has cold coffee, mild caramel, hazelnut, caramelised malt, subtle yeast, soft oaky vanilla. Elegant brown ale.

Bottle from Bierkonig. Dark brown with a thin head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate malts. Flavour is nut, coffee, dry creamy sweetness on a roast bitter finish.

@Proeflokaal Mout, Groningen with #Deanso, amber/rood getinte kraag., aroma van gebrande mout, veel koffie, caramel. Smaken van koffie.. koffie en nog eens koffie... daarnaast nog wat geroosterde en gebrande mouten, maar vind de koffie iets teveel. matige body

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Amber color, full sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, some caramel. Taste malts, caramel, brown candy sugar, a nice hoppy touch and some toasted malts with a nice suitable bitter finish. Decent to medium body and decent carbonation. Don’t really like the aroma but the flavor is quite nice.

Bottle at home, 16th October 16. Pours dark Amber orange, aroma is caramelised grapefruit. Taste is smooth, citrus, slight bitterness, biscuit, light carbonation. Decent stuff

On tap at Taproom. Clear deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of toast, toffee, nuts, hops. Flavour is dry, roast, toast, caramel, hops, quite bitter. Light bodied. Decent.

Tap at Taproom. Clear amber with good sized beige head. Lots of fruity hops, lime, caramel, orange, soft roasted malts, light mineral. Nice balance between hops and malts. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear amber to mahogany with beige head. Lots of roasted nuts, coffee and caramel. Light grassy, dried apricot and a hint of peach. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick, almost watery feel. Quite nice!
