A deep dark porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, light coffee, pleasant. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with light coffee, light mineral notes, pleasant.

Medium haze, golden-beige colour with a white, frothy head, good stay and some foamy-creamy lacing. Full of spices in the aromas with the ginger shining, then the cardamom, to finish with a tad anise. Some decent citrus notes blended in there. The same continues in the taste, but a little softer. Some mild citrus zest, drying finish. A lemon touch lingers, with just a tad ginger. Quite a good, refreshing, spiced up Witbier that is interesting.

A very slight haze, from tiny transparent particles floating all-around, a golden colour with a white head leaving streaky, sticky lacing. Quite a rich nose with caramel malts, Belgian yeast and banana notes. The taste continues on this richness. Not too bad, but not in the better Triple Belgian beers with the richness which is a little too much.

Aromas have a nice blend of coffee-roasted malts and nuttiness. Fairly clean, brown colour with ruby-copper highlights. The head is light-beige with decent stay some nice creamy-foamy lacing. Again, the taste shows some decent roastiness with hazelnuts, barley and coffee touch. The rye adds a nice feel, but not as spicy as I expected. All still fun, and quite fun for a Brown Ale.

473mL can, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has toasted chestnuts, gentle bourbon barrels, bready malt, and a touch of dark dried fruits. Flavour is nicely malty, with lots of bready caramel malt, toffee, and gentle vanillin from the barrels. Nice maltiness, not too sweet; the barrels add a subtle extra dimension. Real good.
