Frampton Brasse Bouquet Tropical NEIPA 6% Bottle shares by my brother, it’s opaque rather than hazy with a decent amount of foam and a somewhat flowery papaya hop bouquet. Full bodied with a raspy mouthfeel. This beer has a sweet tart and light plain biscuit flavor. Meh, not really hitting the style so well.

Bottle: Poured an amber color Vienna lager with a large off-white foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with light grainy notes with a bit of stale notes. Taste is also a mix of stale notes of malt with light cereal notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not very enjoyable with some stale notes even though beer was bottled quite recently.

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur bronze laissant filtrer la lumière, imposante mousse beige aérée. Arôme métallique (qui s'estompe en aérant), malt caramélisé, fruits foncés, cassonade, légèrement oxydé. Goût de malt caramélisé, légèrement herbacé, âcre. Carbonatation très élevée, corps moyen.

341ml bottle at Alex's. Pours a clear dark copper with a weak tan head. Aroma is malty with dark fruit notes and some smoky notes. Taste is moderately to high sweet with dark malts and fruits. Some boozy bitterness. Ok.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out moderate smoke upfront, with toasted bready caramel. Flavour brings out plenty of smoked meat, light caramel, and toasted bready malt. Light brown sugar and plenty of smoked meat on the finish. Very nice.

Medium brown with a touch of haze. Not much head. There's a fairly smoky aroma, and flavour. The smoke dominates, it's a bit fizzier than I might prefer for the style, makes it seem lighter than it is. The malts are nutty, with a just a little bit of toffee. Smoked ice bock...fun.

Bottle from La Fringale du Monde. Black under a small lingering khaki coloured head. Nose is dark fruit, coffee, licorice, molasses, leather, dark chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is tart plum and cherry with a medium chocolate and coffee bitterness over a light toffee sweetness. Mouth is full and creamy with soft carbonation and a tart warming finish. Excellent. 9/4-/8-/4/16
