Haxy orange hole. Piney, green, malty. Nicely West Coast style.

Floral, yeasty, light citrus and malt. I really expected the worst but it’s actually pretty decent. Bonus as it was free, a local lady ordered it on 2 for 1 happy hour but didn’t want 2 so gave it to me 🙂

A bit disappointed on this one, it’s pretty much just a malt bomb with little going on. Expected some hops at least and I know for sure that Great Leap can do better.

On tap at the source. Deep copper, thin white head. A decent, fairly sweet but not overwhelming amber with no distinct cinnamon notes. Light bodied, easy to drink.

From tap at Planet Oedipus ’17. Aroma is herbal hops, caramel malt, herbal tea, soft fruity notes. Flavour is mild sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Agreeable IPA with a strong herbal tea character, hardly smashing but I liked it.

From tap at Planet Oedipus ’17. Aroma is grainy malt with strong floral and herbal notes, herbal tea, fruits, citrus, lemongrass, big herbal. Flavour is medium bitter. Body is medium. Drinking this I could have sworn it was a Lager. Anyway, I dig me some herbal tea in beer and this one delivers.

From tap at Planet Oedipus 2018. Caramel malt aroma with cinnamon, but thankfully they did not go overboard on the spice. Notes of toffee and hints of dried fruits. Bit sticky sweet but fairly bitter as well. Body is medium. Pretty good for the style.
