Keg at MBCC 2018 Red (session Trois), 11/05/18. Orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is sweet malts, bitter orange, earthy hops, toasted grains. Taste comprises caramel, grassy, citric pith, toasted malts, orange rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Average for the style.

Keg at MBCC 2018 Red (session Trois), 11/05/18. Golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is light stewed fruits, floral notes, spice. Taste comprises airy malts, damp straw, toffee, light herbs, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Par for the style but not the sort of beer I want at MBCC!

Draught at MBCC green (fourth) session. Clear amber-gold body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of herbal hops and grainy malts. Tropical fruity flavours on a backbone of earthy malts. Hints of piney bitterness to the ending. Fine bodied. Standard, well made IPA. Like it. (Copenhagen 12.05.2018).

Draught at MBCC green (fourth) session. Snow white head that laced well. Misty straw-golden body. Moderate pale malty smell, citric hints. Rather sweet pale malty taste with a slight touch of butter and joined by grassy hops. Smooth malt-fruity endnotes, semi-sweet. Okay version of the style. (Copenhagen 12.05.2018).

Tap at Young Master beer festival in HK 5-2018. Clear amber copper pour with minimal head. Aroma is cereal malt and overripe fruit (but might be due to multiple fruitier beers having been in the glass previously). Biscuity malt taste with mild bitterness. So so.

MBCC 2018. Yellow. Keg. A Theydon Bois whip cracking power rate. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Light and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts. Floral and slightly spicy tea. Tangy thin finish. A bit thin and tangy, okay.
