Bottled@wPBFIII. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and nice liquoricelike notes along with some sweet malts. Flavour is sweet malts, some floral notes as well as some slight liquorice.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival, growler from the brewpub. Lightly hazy amber, small head. Fruity, peppery aroma with some orange. Mid dry with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. White pepper, rye bread bitter orange and hay. Mid bitter finish.

Growler 1 ltr at wpbf. Small off-white head. Marmalade and citrus in the weak nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Citrus and marmalade with some gooseberry in the finish. Simple.

Keg at Great Leap #6, Beijing. Near black, mid sized head. Caramelly fennel aroma. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Molasses, licorice and aniseed. Fairly low bitterness. Nicely put together.

Keg at Great Leap Taproom, Beijing. Lightly hazy golden.,small head. Grassy nose. Mid dry with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Pleasant flavours from doughy malt and grassy hops.The hard mouthfeel brings out metallic under tones. Quite American, only halfway there.

Keg at the brewpub. Murky brownish amber, small head. Lightly phenolic fruity nose. Sweet with medium-full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some sticky pumpkin pie and cinnamon. Syrup and crystal malt. Low bitterness. Not a favourite.
