Originally rated July 2006. Pours a golden-yellow with a small white head. No retention, no lace. The aromas are hardly there, with very mild amount of spices with the malt. Hardly any carbonation too. Fewww, there is some light taste. The spices felt in the nose are present here too. Light, but not bad. Worth the try, but no more. I’ll stick with their Edelbrau.

Bottle from Lubière: Poured a golden yellow le with a medium foamy head with good retention. Aroma of floral hops is quite interesting with some sweet malt. Taste has a real creamy texture with some sweet malt and light dry floral finish. Not bad but not great either and not something that I would seek again.

Golden ale with a thick big bubbled white head, receeding on first gulp. Light floral hops over a sweet malt aroma. In mouth, sweetish malt with light hops, a bit British in character, but overall dull. Lighter bodied.

Brown bottle, 341 ml; white head that disappers rapidly, pale yellow; nose: hint of hops but overpowered by a sirupy smell; mouth: thin, faint taste of bitterness, faint taste of syrup, way after the last gulp, a sensation of pepper fills the middle of the tongue; overall: once in a lifetime tasting is good enough

Clear brown lager with a thin resilient off-white head. I can get the lemon but the maple comes as beer warms. I do note some sulfur at the beginning, but this dissapears to leave the sweet aroma. In mouth, fresh clean malt with nice little nutty notes, and decent bitterness. Medium bodied. A good deal at 8.95$.

Yellow colour and grassy aroma. Watery character. Hints of creamed corn. Sweet and clean, but lacking. Unlike the so-called Superior Lager, there is no reason to keep this one above the big Nickel.

Brown copper ale with thick off white head. Faint malty aroma with caramel. Rather sweet with not much character little hops and not much in terms of body.

Blonde with a nice malty nose and a little hops. Rather bland taste though, some sweet amlt, some boiled corn, not very hoppy but very nice when it is really hot). Medium bodied. Thanks Piscator.

I have consumed tap water that was darker than this. Smells like water but with a hint of hop. Some sourish grainy notes, but okay maltiness for the size of beer. There are a few bready and hoppy notes, but it tastes half-finished. Not awful, but needs work.

Bottled. Pale brown with small head. Sweet and clean. Firm, but lacking in flavour, a vague hint of syrup is all I get. Low bitterness.
