On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Hazy gold lasting white head. Citrus tropical fruit aroma. Fairly light in the mouth not much malt. But it’s first beer of the day so tastes lovely. Hoppy dry finish. Tropical fruit saison. Some funk comes in towards the finish. Decent. Bit too new world hop for me.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally sugary, floral aroma, slightly citrusy and grassy hoppy overtones, hints of green apple and lemongrass, unripe green fruit in general. Taste is minimally tart, grassy and citrusy bitter hoppy, notes of green apple and corresponding parings, a cautious touch of lime and lemongrass. Not the dirtiest kind of funk here.
