Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, sugar, and a touch of chocolate. Sweet sugary flavour with a moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Decent sweet Bock, expected a bit more "bokkepootjes".

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is grassy hops with notes of citrus, grain, some of that champagne yeast, and soft floral notes. Flavour is light sweet with a dry medium bitter finish. Body is medium. Very dry, decent example of the style, the champagne yeast works well. Refreshing, could be a bit more aromatic though.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is creamy rye malt with mild fruity hops, caramel, and some pine. Bittersweetish flavour, lots of sturdy grainy rye, more malty than fruity. Good.

From tap at De Markies, Leeuwarden. Roasty aroma with liquorice, touch of ash, some milk chocolate. Rather sweet with a roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Bit too heavy on the liquorice and lacks creamy lactose.

330ml can. Misted yellow-gold with brief white fizz, no retention. Aroma of waxy citrus rinds and flora. Taste has a crisp acidic citrus note with sweet flora, some grain. Bitter grassy and acidic finish. I'm not won over with this one but its fine.

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Pretty full bodied with an aroma of peanuts, dark malt, marshmallow, chocolate, cherries, caramel. Sweet with a mild bitterness. Would have been better without cherries methinks, it clashes a bit with the peanut butter.
