Two Chefs Brewing started in 2012 with the desire to completely stock our homes with home made funky beers and we haven’t stopped brewing since. We always aim to provoke the conventional and we like to stick out our tongue to the familiar.

This weissbier is not so tropical, classic and rather dry and mineral, not so fruity than an Ayinger urweiss, even tough average, 21.02.18, at Hoofdroop.

Can at De Zwaan Maastricht. Black beer lasting tan head Chocolate aroma. Good porter. Thick in the mouth. Solid. Good chocolate flavour throughout. I liked it a lot. Just lovely mouthfeel and flavour.

I appreciated this Russian imperial stout, all the aromas and enjoyement that you could expect, light and powerful, yeasty, nuts, 12.05.19, at Epalinges.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma is all fermenting peaches and wort. Taste is fruity sweet, almost cloying, with dough-like undertones. Finishes much the same with no real bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, decent chewiness. A fairly underwhelming example of the style.

Can from Beerdome. Amarillo single hop, rarely seen these days. Ripe fruity hop aroma with orange, some grapefruit, light pine, malt, stone fruit. Medium bitter, light sweet. Still a fine hop that I'll gladly take over many over-used New Zealand hype hops.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark berries, raisins, dark caramel, soft whiskey and soft toasty malts. Flavors of oaky and fruity whiskey, raisins, caramel, cocoa, and toasty malts. A little thin, with alcohol and heat on the finish but otherwise very good.

Zwarte body met een superfijne beige kraag die lang blijft hangen. Ruikt alseen prima dry stout, geroosterd, koffie, met een licht zoetje retronasaal. Smaak is lichtjes bitter, koffie, geroosterd. Lichte body, zachte koolzuur. Afdronk is lichtjes zoetig, geroosterd, tikje bitter.
