Can from thew LCBO. Hazy light amber with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves some stringy lace. Nose is stone fruit, tropical fruit, honey, wheat, some minerals and herbal notes. Light fruity sweetness with a light+ grass and citrus peel bitterness. Mouth is medium and creamy with a dry finish. 7/3/7-/4/14-

A decently hoppy brew of mild resin ans tropical notes, over hay malt. Decently drinkable but not wow.

Decently tasty, mildly sweet cherries, roasted malts, not too heavy. Low carbs. Had a couple at the brewery.

This English ale poured a hazy amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel malts ,a smidgen of ripe fruit and a little tea. First swig was smooth and delicious. Flavours of malt, caramel and a little hop are predominant. Finish is medium bitter. Very nice pint!

Pours a hazy amber colour with a beige frothy head, good retention and some foamy lacing. At first, the smell was not quite good with the hops showing metallic and mild chemical notes. At the last pour though, this seems to change to a nicer fruity malt nose. The fruity malts do show in the flavours the whole time, with a nice light dry finish. Caramel undertone with hints of woods. A little too much hops for the style, but as a North American version - this is fine.

Caskat Ottawa Winter Brewfest. Disclaimer: This even used plastic cups, which may have prevented my ability to fully appreciate this beer. Cloudy amber. Fruity caramel aroma. Sweet medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and strawberries, pine and syrup. Resiny bitter finish.
