50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown to black. Small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Breadish and slight caramelish. Bitter. Toasted and dark malty. Dry and roasted finish.

Cask @ White Hart, Stebbing. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, hops, flowers and has a nice bitter light nutty finish.

Cask at the Hop Beer Shop, Chelmsford. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, toffee, chocolate, vanilla and dark fruits. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle 500ml. @ Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Bishop Nick Bob Sleigh ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, caramel. IMO quit borring. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161202] 6-3-6-3-11

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - light orange and pale malt. Taste - more orange with a biscuit backdrop. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good. Nice orange note.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, minimally ashy, dark malty aroma, a spicy touch of lovage and soy sauce. Taste is roasty, chocolately, dark malty, minimally ashy, a touch of lovage and soy sauce; oily to viscous texture. A bit plain and simple.

Cask at the Alma, Harwich. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, burnt treacle hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, slightly watery, toffee caramel malt, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
