Deep amber coloured body with a relatively thick-ish tan head, about three centimetres tall. Aroma of pure chai spices with nutmeg, allspice, coriander seed, star anise and the strongest amount of cloves. Light to Medium-bodied: Strong space-based flavours with a big dash of malt and grain with only a touch of sugars and thick body to couple with all those spices, which are evident throughout. Aftertaste shows the light malt characteristics with some milk and lactose flavours with a good punch of alcohol towards the end with a balance given from some light sugars, a touch of grain and mostly from the spices that dominate this beer from start to end. Overall, a nice beer with bunches of flavours from the spice, the malt and a robust quality from the yeast and alcohol punch near the end. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 28-September-2018 for US$2,99 sampled on the train from New York to Washington on 02-December-2018 with my family.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/11/2018. Pours lightly hazy pale golden/yellow/light pinkish color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cherry juice, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherry juice, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, acidic/tangy, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is an excellent gose. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherry juice, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Not overly lactic or salty. Flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balanced juicy/jammy cherries, Lacto complexity; and solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Can. Pours unclear amber. Aroma is super floral, melon, light coriander. Body is light, softly salty with a medium carbonation, a bit waterish but not too bad. Light and refreshing. Could have more flavours, but works like that
