Gusher!!!! Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and sweet orange. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long sweet malty, orange finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is very fizzy

More of a session IPA than a pale ale, with a bright hop front full of grapefruit, lemon zest, and hints of earth and green onion, then no malts to shore up the back end. Slight graininess pads the Ekuanot bitterness, but fades into oily nothingness rather quickly. Pours a pretty hazed gold, though, and the nose is full-on IPA-worthy with its hefty hop dankness. Light feel is good for repeat drinking, but otherwise not my type of hop-bomb.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty caramel malt, liqouirce hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a silky smooth, rich, oily, roasty, caramel, salty, liqouirce bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Bomber from Brewers Haven. I've see this on tap lists as a BA brown, but the label just says malt beverage, so I went with a strong ale. Pours out a dark brown, light passing through when held up to light, fizzy head, small ring. Big rush of booze, prunes, nutty sweetness in the aroma. Taste wavers between sweet and nutty, but the barrel notes dominate both. Warmth too, surprising how much for a 8.3% beer.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours bright coppery brown with a beige head. Spicy aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is very spicy. Sort of a cross between mint and cinnamon. Moderately dry. Malt manages to assert itself despite the spice. Bitter? No. Spice? Yes.
