Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts intense malty, modest spicy, shy alcoholic notes. Finish with mild sweetness. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

Ist im April 2015 neu ins Programm gekommen - bisher hatte Baumgartner kein Weizen im Sortiment. Für ihr Erstlingswerk in Sachen Weißbier fällt das Ergebnis mehr als nur brauchbar aus. Eher schwer, gute Substanz, recht kräftiger Geschmack (der sogar nach mehr als die angegebenen 5,4 % Alk schmeckt), fruchtige Noten sind vorhanden (ich erkenne insbesondere etwas Pfirsich), noch ausreichend süffig und sehr schmackhaft.

Sehr malzig, ganz leicht schokoladig. Süffig. Der Antrunk ist sehr gut, im Mittel- und Endteil könnte etwas mehr passieren (minimal mehr Substanz wäre vielleicht nicht schlecht). Gefällt mir insgesamt aber schon sehr gut und ist sogar noch besser als die helle Variante. Ist im April 2015 neu ins Programm gekommen - bisher hatte Baumgartner kein Weizen im Sortiment. Und tatsächlich ist dies eine echte Bereicherung für die bereits sehr gute aufgestellte Bierregion Oberösterreich.

33cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a small white lacing. Aroma of moderate dry grainy malt and straw. Taste of dry grainy malt, strong malt, straw. Mild bitterness.

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Pours a green-golden colour, not much head. Aroma is lemon, some other fruits and mild notes of hay.

Bottle at home, thanks to Geiserich, 09/11/18. Murky deep brown with a decent light beige covering. Nose is toffee, brown sugar, light spice, brown bread, pear drop, fruit esters. Taste comprises sweet malts, biscuit, brown sugar, toffee, banana loaf, light spice balance. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough dunkles weisse.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, mellow malty aroma, grassy hoppy aroma. Taste is metallic, bitter hoppy, mellow malty with a strawy touch.
