Bottle at GBBF 2016. Day 1. Pours rich brown with a frothy, tan head. The nose holds burnt grass, pine, roasted malts. Light sweet flavour with notes of charred earth, flinty minerals, more burnt pine bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter and roasty in the finish, with more char notes, some dry and ashy wood, grass, cocoa. Nice one.

Cask at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Hazed amber to chestnut brown with a solid beige head. Nose is spice, berry fruits, biscuit, grains, bready notes, blackberry. Taste comprises brown bread, light roast, light peppery spice, red berry tingle, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Nose was fine but the taste fell away ... a bit wish washy and directionless.

Cask at Craft 100 - fall 2016. Pours mostly clear amber with a foamy head. The aroma holds moderate wintery spices, some lightly toasted breads. Light sweet flavour with muddled malt character, restrained slices, bread, leaves. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Somewhat bland on the finish, just further mellow spicing, dried berries, toasty bread. So so.

Cask at Craft 100. It pours cloud red - brown with a medium off-white head. The aroma is rich, bitter - sweet, juniper, cherry cola, big blackberry jam vibe, winter spice, tangy and Victoria sponge. The taste is sweet, earthy roast, toasty, chewy malt, leather, wood, ginger, earthy, nutmeg, allspice and dried cherry with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty good fun.

Bottle from BottleDog, Holborn, london and shared at the 3rd Ipswich bottle share. Pours black with a frothy beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Light sweetness and bitterness. Medium body and slick texture, belying its low abv. Moderate carbonation. Finish is dry, cocoa. A decent brew at 3.4%..

Pours a very hazy pale orange color, topped with and enormous gushing off-white head - not sure if that’s what they were going for. Some fruitiness in teh nose along with chalky notes and some wet woody feel. Taste is mildly bitter, actually quite fresh with some peppery finish.
