Corked and caged bottle with 2022 stamped on the cork from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep, honey orange color with no head and slight visible carbonation in the glass. Musty, cobwebby nose with notes of horse blanket, aged chese, dried honey, wood and aged lemon zest. There is a briny note that rears its head as well. Lower carbonation on the palate with some notes of aged vinegar, dried lemon zest and lots of wood. A touch of dried honey mid-palate that leads into a tart, musty and slightly bitter finish.Very different from some of the other gueuze's from other producers and blenders.

Row 34 draught, 8/25/22. Clear, rusty copper. No head. Good and cellar-like, musty, funky, cheesy, heavy B. lambicus with tons of cherry pie. Good malt/wheat, nice balance, no acetic. Low on lactic acidity, even. A very soft lambic. Soft, almost still, lemon, cheese rind, heavy Brett. A lot more approachable than the 2017 Cantillon GCB I just had, though that's not necessarily a good thing. Kind of surprisingly uncomplex. Lemon, cherry, cheese rind. Is there Jerez in here somewhere? Certainly no slouch, though.

Half pour at the Brick Store Pub. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is sweet apple, horse blanket, black pepper, amd lemon peel. Dry and beautifully funky. Light, leathery, and lightly acidic. Really nice.

Pours a hazy, intense orange, with at most one finger of large meshed white head. Quick to dissipate, no lacing. The aroma is (nicely) on the soft side of the style, though weaker than expected: moderate sourness (softly citric and slightly acetic) with notes of tangerine, lemon, maybe apple and the slightest hint of vinegar. Nice funky complexity, with leather and a barnyardy feel most noticeable. Feels brighter/more vivid in taste. Neutral malty base, moderate sourness (softly citric, slightly acetic), taste notes as per aroma. Nice sweet/sour balance in the mouth, with a pretty dry (almost tannic) finish that leaves a clean mouth. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation, a simple and easy but nicely vivid mouthfeel. Overall this was very enjoyable and quite easy to drink, with a nice funky complexity to it.
