25cl bottle from Cora in Brussels. F: no. C: murky hazy, brown. A: sweet artificial strawberries, bit woody. T: strawberries, bit syrupy, woody touch, dry on the palate, bit sugary, almost no carbonation, quite messy all together.

25cl bottle from Cora in Brussels. F: thin, white, quick gone. C: amber, hazy. A: sour yellow fruits, mirabelle, bit funky, bit sugary. T: light sour sweet fruity, bit white sugar, yellow plums, quite sweet all together, soft carbonation, nothing really enjoyable.

Clear yellow colour with no head and low carbonation. Aroma has lots of barnyard notes. Hay and manure. Flavour is tart with sour green grapes and Granny Smith apple. Some chalkiness in the finish.

37,5cl bottle (BBF: 24/04/2024) from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: thin, white, average retention. C: gold, light hazy. A: sour fruity, woody, bit funky, green gooseberries, peach. T: light sour fruity, peach, woody, bit lemon, bit puckering, soft carbonation, very simple, nothing really special yet enjoyed.

Corked and crown capped bottle 12.7cl. US export version with Chapeau back label and a BB date 12/2020 so it should be a 2015 vintage althought it is not mentioned on the label. Deep cherry red colour, short fizzy head. Aroma strong cherry nose, sirupy, light wood. Full sweet and sour taste, krieken, yoghurt, vinegar, light wood in the background. Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation, lingering sweet and sour aftertate, sticky mouthfeel, yammie.
