Description

Draft at Ranzani 13, Bologna, Italy. Pours a nice hazy brown, brilliant, with minimal whitish foam, fine. Aroma is very nice of caramel, brett, nuts, barrel ageing. Body is just a little dense with moderate carbonation. A bit of astringency. Taste is pretty sour, with good sweetness. Finish is fairly long.

rom tap at Moeder Lambic shared by Beerhunter111, big thanks. Bourdeaux like colour, small pink head. Smells earthy, grains, milky, currant notes, spices. Decent smell. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes watery, earthy, berry notes, bit medical, spices, peppery, some solvent. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of berry notes, earthy and spicy notes. Decent, a bit on the watery side.

Bottle - Vintage 2014 - Light vinegar, some cherry pit and an almost savory notes. Clearish gold with a small white head. Light sourness, cherry pit, light woody notes and a touch of that savory character. I think this is past its prime.
