Fra fad på Tap1, mai-14: kveldens store overraskelse var de polske mikrobyggeriene på stand 48A. Etter at Pracownias russian imperial stout hadde gjort oss alle heftig og begeistert var det på sin plass å prøve deres barleys wine. "Fytti grisen så bra" sa Arne, og ingen var uenig. En superb tripel uten den denoverveldende sødmen man ofte møter i denne stilarten.

Fra fad på Tap1 mai-14: imponerende på alle måter - aroma, smak og balanse, for ikke å glemme munnfylde og ettersmak. Sistnevnte varer antakelig helt til Nørrebro. Fantastisk godt balansert. Jærbuene er fra seg av begeistring, og vi setter alle kursen mot stand 48A.

Sample from tap, CBF 2014. Hazy, deep golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, wheat malts, spices and citrus. Fresh and zesty aroma. Taste is sweet. Light to medium body. Finishes dry and fruity with citrus. Nice, refreshing beer.

Hazy pale yellow with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with mild smoke, and a touch of hay/grass. Dry and malty flavour with mild smoke character, herbal hops and a mild bitter finish

Draught. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy soapy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Egg notes. Average light bitter fniish. Oily palate.

Black with a lasting, off-white head. Roasted aroma with chocolate and coffee dominating. Sweet and full-bodied flavour of roasted malt with dark chocolate.

Sample from tap, CBF 2014. Cloudy, pale golden colour with a thin, white head. Light citrus aroma with a discrete smoke, wood, wheat malts and hay. Taste is light bitter. Light body with a watery texture - no wonder, this a 2.4 % beer. Short smoked and bitter finish. Overall impression is nice - but I’ll have my doubts about I would fancy a pint of it.
