Tap @ NBF13. Hazy yellow colour with a small to medium white head. Smells lovely. Apricot juice, like the stuff in the can. Fruitiest beer ever. Tastes very hoppy, bitter, fruity, apricot.. Like a nice and dry IPA. Thin to medium body, crisp carbo.

75 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Pours a black color. Rocky, uneven beige head with lots of big bubbles through the denser foam. Upon opening, lots of sourness, not very promising, once in the glass there’s additional roast, some whiskey notes. Retronasal the sourness seems all but disappeared, but there’s brett, roast, little sweetness, a bit of wood, light whiskey, a bit raisins. Flavor is mildly sweet, roasted, mildly sour. Carbonation is quite high which gives this a bit of a thin mouthfeel. Finish is pretty nice, ashy, peaty and light roasted bitter, but too late. Reading their own description the brett & sourness is not intentional, and imo not satisfying. In which case €12,- for a bottle is quite hefty.... Amazingly enough, after letting it stand for a day, almost all of the brett & sourness had disappeared, which made this much more enjoyable - and I think more like it was intended. Which earned it a few extra points.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, whiskey, and alcohol. The flavor is roasted malt, alcohol, whiskey, and coffee, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle. Slight hazy amber color, small lasting off-white head. Aroma of grassy hop, tropical fruit, Bretty bubblegum, slight hint of hay, some caramel malt. Soft bitter taste, quite dry, hint of maltiness. Finishes rather dry. Most likely Brett infected, which I really like, but it makes it very different than your regular APA.

750ml bottle. Clear dark brown colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Cautious, slightly roasty, minimally smokey dark malty aroma. Taste is initially bitter hoppy, dry roasty dark malty, very subtle sweetness, a touch of smoke, in the finish salty liquorice; lively carbonation takes away some taste from the tongue. For me not smokey enough to be a "Smoked" or at least not as smokey as I’d expect from a "Smoked".
