Bottle from Burg, BB 10-05-2015, large sample. Slight hazy golden color, big rocky slight off-white head. Aroma of slight flowery hop, bit grassy, soft peppery yeast, slight grainy malt. Quite dry in taste, slight fruity sweetness, bit citrussy bitterness. Medium to high in carbonation, thin body. Nicely balanced. Much better than the last time I rated it. Tap @ Nijmegen. Clear yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of soft grassy hop, some saison yeast, slight peppery. All very soft. Medium dry taste, slightly bitter. Easy drinker, but lacks a bit of flavor. I want that brett back! :-) 2.9

Rerate @ de Molen. Keg is now 6 weeks older and the Brett (in combination with some oxygen?) has done a lot of its job. Major leathery aroma, barnyard, only some toffee and caramel. Bit more dry in taste, still some sweet and sour. Nicely balanced in taste, but the leather and barnyard take over the aroma a lot. Rating remains the same btw. Tap @ Nijmegen. Cloudy light browm color. Soft fruity aroma, lots of toffee and caramel, hint of tartness. Sweet and sour taste. Interesting. 3.5

Tap @ NBF13. Weird brownish colour (like there’s milk in it). Smells hops, fruity, fresh, deep, slightly food. Nice! Tastes bitter, slightly coffee, bit roasty, some red fruits and a little caramel. Nice beer. Medium body, great carbo.

Tap @ NBF13. Hazy yellow colour with a small to medium white head. Smells lovely. Apricot juice, like the stuff in the can. Fruitiest beer ever. Tastes very hoppy, bitter, fruity, apricot.. Like a nice and dry IPA. Thin to medium body, crisp carbo.

75 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Pours a black color. Rocky, uneven beige head with lots of big bubbles through the denser foam. Upon opening, lots of sourness, not very promising, once in the glass there’s additional roast, some whiskey notes. Retronasal the sourness seems all but disappeared, but there’s brett, roast, little sweetness, a bit of wood, light whiskey, a bit raisins. Flavor is mildly sweet, roasted, mildly sour. Carbonation is quite high which gives this a bit of a thin mouthfeel. Finish is pretty nice, ashy, peaty and light roasted bitter, but too late. Reading their own description the brett & sourness is not intentional, and imo not satisfying. In which case €12,- for a bottle is quite hefty.... Amazingly enough, after letting it stand for a day, almost all of the brett & sourness had disappeared, which made this much more enjoyable - and I think more like it was intended. Which earned it a few extra points.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, whiskey, and alcohol. The flavor is roasted malt, alcohol, whiskey, and coffee, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
