@ZZT V. Hazy, murky orange brown colour with a big off-white head. Smells like a freshly caught ’voorn’ (type of fish), hops. Tastes hoppy, grapefruit, fresh. Medium body, great carbo.

75cl bottle @ ZZT V. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell malts, hops, citrus and the typical saison aroma. Taste malts, some fruits, slightly hops, maybe a hint of some spices or something. Fizzy carbo, low to medium body.

Clear black colour, beige head. Aroma of blueberry, blueberry jam, roasted malts, slightly sweet, very fruity. Fresh fruity flavour, light fruit acids, light sweetness, light bitterness. Finish bilberry and roasted malts.
I was looking forward to drinking this one a lot, I absolutely love blueberries (the bilberry kind) and I’m fond of Oersoep. Great little brewery!

Thx. to Tinus for sharing a bottle of this one @ Borefts 2012. 750 ml. bottle sampled, I absolutely adore the design of these bottles. Either I have been trully oblivious so far or this brewery recieved some nice exposure @ Borefts. Every beer geek from the Netherlands appeared to know about them. Currently they brew apparently 200 littres of beer which is very, very little, nano brewery style. That comes down to only about 267 bottle of 750 ml. - maybe I misheard. Dark brown with a tanned head - smell is sweet with touch of mocha, milk chocolate, ligtly roasted malts and what could be blueberries but blueberries like in cookies and not like fresh stuff. Taste is sweet, chocolate, mocha, rather mellow bit light - too be expected going by the ABV - cookie blueberries, rather homogeneous whole, reasonable body - agreable

Sampled from bottle, shared by Martinus (thanks!). Color is black, almost opaque. Beige head. Aroma’s: cassis, some roasted malts, toffee. Retronasal it’s more fruit in general, a bit acidic, roasted. Flavor is medium bitter, roasted. Light body. Flavor lingers on.

Bottle thx to martinus @ borefts 12. Dark colour, small off-white head. Smells fruity (i guess blueberries), fresh. Tastes a bit watery, also some fruits, not really sweet and not really sour. Not too strong either. Thin to medium body, soft fizzy carbo.

Jet black colour, tan head. Aroma of wood, dark cherries, roasted malts, quite fruity and oak. Bitter flavour, roasted malts, very dry, wood, oak, light ash, creamy mouthfeel. Dry finish, roasted malts, light cherry, light dry cocoa powder. Lingering wood.
Nice beer from a brewery that isn’t shunning some experimentation.
