Bottle 750ml. corked @ Tasting by Benzai [ ZZT V ].Unclear hazy medium orange colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, dry grass, light earty - leathery hops. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry grass, dusty, hoppy, dry, licorice hop notes. IMO. a bit muddy - messy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 75cl Bottle at UDRBM, thanks for hosting Vaisha! Black colour, brown head. Aroma is light tart, hard roasted/burnt malts, berries, cocoa beans. Flavour of hard roasted malts, a little acid sourness, light moccha, coffee, roast and bitter chocolate finish. Light-bodied, overcarbonated, and perhaps with an unintended light infection?

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, moderate roasted, berry - blueberry notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. 75 cl. fles gedeeld. Gekregen in een ruil met Martinus. De fles ziet er krak hetzelfde eruit als de andere maar ik blijf hem echt wel mooi vinden. En het boekje dat erbij komt – daar is echt wel goed over nagedacht geweest – best wel goed samengesteld en informatief, mooi gevonden. Ziet er donkerbruin uit met een redelijk stabiele kraag. De geur en de smaak trouwens ook bevatten echt wel iets dat mij zo bekend voorkomt maar ik kon echter niet op komen, ruikt wel naar rode bieten met nog de aarde eraan, rechtstreeks uit de grond, flinke stuk aarde gemend met een mokka, chocolade en lichte geroosterde mout, het geheel heeft ook wel iets weg van heel lichte porter. Smaak is die van een heel lichte porter, lichtjes geroosterde mout, rode bieten en iets van rouwe groenten, aarde, rozemarijn, zoetere kruiden, een toets bruine suiker, donker fruit en wat Chinese kruiden in de finish. Een echte huis, tuin en keuken bier. Redelijk lichte mondgevoel, apart maar toch wel iets – wel blij dat ik die fles gedeeld heb want een volle fles van dit opdrinken?

this smells and taste awfully familiar... cant realy put my mind to it. heard things like groundvegetables, berry’s,.. dont know what the hack it is specificly, but it tastes BIG . i dont love it, but i can drink it.

Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, quite fruity, pine, light floral, light malts. Pronounced bitter flavour, malty, light sweet honey, light fruity/floral. Light bitter finish, malts, honey.
Nice but a but more subdued than the hopfather 1 -which I prefer.

Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, light acidic, citrus, pepper, spicy yeast. Light sour flavour, light sweet malts, pronounced bitterness. Quite herbal and spicy finish, pronounced malts and a light lasting bitterness. Refreshing.
