Bottle 33cl. from an Odin supermarket @home poured into a goblet. Light spicy nose. Slightly hazy medium golden colour, tall frothy white head, slowly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma grainy malt, wheat, yeast, light spicy notes; retronasal yeast. Taste above medium sweet and light bitter, light lemon, spicy and earthy notes, grain, yeast. Medium body, watery to oily texture, fizzy carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, husky notes, pepper on the tongue, spicy notes till the end, unbalanced feel, okay.

Part of a series of 3 beers, specially bottled for the Antwerpener Museum Maagdenhuis. Wezeke might well be a labelbeer from Warmenbol Lentebock Fast gone off-white head over muddy pale amberish beer. Oriental spices' nose, korma sauce... sweetish? Again Indian spices with a foul bitter finish. Curry with sugar and with bitterhops. Medium bodied at least, very slick. Spices keep going on into the aftertaste. Good carbonation. This is utterly awful. I like Indian cuisine as good as the next, but I do not need it in my beerglass. Maagdenhuis, search for beer closer to home.

Part of a series of 3 beers, specially bottled for the Antwerpener Museum Maagdenhuis. De Cater might well be a labelbeer from Zwarte Madam Fast gone cream head over fully opaque dark brown beer. Wood, dry chocolate, bit liqueurish and even fusels; dry liquorice. Pure I drop /I to the detriment of anything else. Kalisjensap in Flemish. Some body, but still light (almost wrote watery) for a 9.3% brew. Oh dear. OCMW, there's a brewery 500m from your place. Maybe shop there next?

Part of a series of 3 beers, specially bottled for the Antwerpener Museum Maagdenhuis. Cleyn might well be a labelbeer from Warmenbol Panem Tafelbier. Good, fluffy, snowwhite head, stable over fully hazy yellow beer. Herbs, partly dried, green leaves (ditto), laurel, eggyolk. Herbal/spicey and indeed spelt. Warming up introduces coriander, more and more to the fore. Light beer, the other grains more and more obvious. It's OK. Special to be found only in a museum. As said, it's probably a labelbeer - and where is it brewed? Can it be done on the 1 hl plant in Schoten, or... ? A bit of honesty, maybe?

Troebel donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is vrij zwak met iets gras en graan en een heel lichte bitterheid. Niet mijn ding, dit heeft amper smaak en lijkt meer op water met een kleurtje.

Bottle. Deep amber. Caramel, roasted malts, metallic, bitter green leaves, earthy. Over medium sweet with an unpleasant bitter finish. Not great.
