Hopfiger, leider auch muffiger Beginn, der aber nach kurzer Zeit verschwindet. Dezent blumige Noten, brotig, zunehmend bitterer, was im Abgang seinen Höhepunkt erreicht. Hopfiger Mittelteil, eher mild, angenehme Malzigkeit. Nicht unbedingt ein Double IPA aber durchaus ein nettes Bier, bei dem der muffige Hopfen vielleicht durch eine andere Sorte ersetzt werden könnte. 11/9/11/10/8/11

330ml bottle. Opaque black with thick creamy lacing beige head. Dark malt and dark chocolate aroma, cherries, hints of alcohol. Taste has slightly sweet dark malt, dark fruit, a corresponding sparkling sour note, some liquorice in the middle part, dry bitter notes in the finish. Nice composition, but with a bothersome alcoholic note and a too light body for this style.
