Description

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 01/2014)
Opaque black color, small brown head. Roasted malty, a bit burned aroma. Medium to full bodied, soft palate. Roasted malty flavor, low bitterness, hides ABV reasonably well. This is very simple imperial stout, but quite well-brewed, clean. Interesting that this is much better than normal beers of Bosch.

Draught, 6.5% at BBF12. Good caramelly hop aroma. Clear amber colour. Small white head. Good caramelly flavour, not as powerful as many American IPAs, but good.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). More or less pitch black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some mild roasted maltyness along with mild nuttyness and alcohol. Flavour is raisins, some nuts, mild yeast, alcohol as well as some slight caramelly and toffeeish notes. Quite thick and actually a very pleasant to drink Imperial Stout, being not too weak and not too extreme. Some slight cardamom as well in the aftertaste.
