Bubbly off white head left a collar & spotty cover on a translucent, slightly effervescent golden body. Sweet berry, malt, spice & tea aroma. Medium bodied, tingly to the fire with a softer cloying back. Sweet floral tastes if berry, grain, spices & tea with a bitter tangy citrussy finish.

Creamy tan coloured head left a rocky cover on a near black still body. Blackberry, sherry, port & demerara aroma. Medium to full bodied, creamy & smooth over the palate leaving a thinner clean, soft finish. Port, berry, coffee, liquorice & nutty tastes.

330 ml bottle. Murky dark brown, stable cappuccino coloured head. Dried fruits, lemon, orange peel, roasted breadcrumbs, burnt malt, coffee, some metallic notes. Bittersweet. Oily slick texture, full bodied, warm and dry finish. Solid.

33cl bottle in Munich. Slight spicy aroma but not enough nose for an IPA. Medium head didn't last long. Flavor is a bit caramel, spicy and resiny but not very fruity. Must be German Cascade? I don't get much of the grapefruit Mandarin flavor advertised on the bottle. At least the bitterness and residual sugar is decently, though not perfectly, balanced.

From the bottle. Gold with a thin, foamy white head that soon subsides. Initially quite fruity aroma though I’m struggling to better describe it. Perhaps a mix of apricot and berries. This soon fades, leaving notes more herbal, grainy. Taste is mildly bitter with sweet, fruity undertones that play out nicely and linger through the finish. Body is medium, carbonation is moderate. Overall, outwardly simple but there’s a subtle range of flavors that made me want more. Good!

19/6/2018. Bottle at Getränkefeinkost, Leipzig. Pours almost black with a lasting semi-firm beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dried fruit liquorice, nut and alcohol. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation.
