Slightly hazy amber. Fresh ginger aroma with little nuance or subtlety. The flavour is also quite gingery, with notes of caramelly, earthy malt. The finish is refreshing, at least until the earthy, toasty malts cut back in.

Cloudy golden brown color, frothy white head. Juicy cascade hop jump out of the glass. Not surprisingly the mouth has strong grapefruit notes, but the finish is a bit too grainy for me, despite assertive bitterness. However, an easy drinking beer.

Ruby color, thin white head fades to nothing very quickly.Acetic cherry nose. Tart and vinegary taste, very light cherry flavor, bordering on the edge of just being vinegar. Poor effort

On tap at Steamworks, Vancouver. Pale copper/gold, thin white head. Excellent hop, rather intense hop, but the structure is great. Great malt and creaminess, followed by a hit of intense bitter hops, faint grapefruit, but very intense. Full in mouth, not overly piney. Soft and full in mouth and then intense bitter finish.

On tap at Steamworks, Vancouver. Amber with thin beige head. Good hop aroma, very much in an APA style. Good piney hops. Decent underpining of malt. Nice piney grapefruit hop finish. Slightly woody. Bit too fizzy. Very drinkable.

On tap at Steamworks, Vancouver. Reddish brown, thin beige head. Slightly more interesting than some brown ales. Some nuttiness on end. Hazelnuts. Good maltiness but never syrupy.

On tap at Steamworks, Vancouver. Clear red/brown colour with thin pinky white head. Raspberry aroma. Very raspberry fruit. Hint of sourness. Raspberry fruit in mouth leads to very moderate sourness and then if falls away towards the end. Rapsberry fruit syrup continues throughout. Bit over carbonated. Lacks a bit of malt structure.
