Description
In 2011 we Howling Hops reopened the Cock tavern on Mare street as Hackney’s first brewpub. The brewery expanded a few times but still couldn’t really keep up with the demand. So in 2015 the brewery moved to the current address in the heart of Hackney Wick.

Howling Hops brew bold, modern, uncompromised, flavoursome, generously hopped beers. All our beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and suitable for vegans. We still stick to our early philosophy of ‘make some interesting beer’, although not every one is different these days. We have a core of 4 beers that we brew regularly, a couple of beers we brew seasonally and every 3 or 4 weeks we brew a different single batch beer.

Old rating from 03-01-16 - 330ml bottle from Kris Wines in North London, and it states Mosaic, Amarillo & Citra hops are used. It pours a cloudy amber colour with white head. Aromas of tropical mango, pineapple and citrus. Tastes of bready spicy clove with a wheat character, some sharp lime citrus and earthy rye present as well as the some citra hops. Aftertaste has a crisp clean feel to it. Overall I really enjoyed this beer.
