Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is ..... Bretty? But also with a strange meaty edge - rullepølse. Medium body, sweet malt, a little flowery and some late bittering hops. Doesn’t appear infected apart from the initial vague Brett. But more of a generic Golden Ale than any Pilsener. 100517

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, nutty brown with a tiny, beige head. Nose has greasy, unfresh hops, sweaty feet. Rich, malty body, burned caramel with an ashy, smoky edge. Rather bitter finish. It simply doesn’t taste very well at all. Poorly crafted. 020517

Bottle 50 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a small white head. Yeasty, slightly citric nose. Light body, yeast and phenols, ends dry but with no recognizable hops. Birkerød is still battling to evolve beyond poor homebrew. So far they haven’t managed to. 010217
