Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark, orangey brown with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Surprisingly little aroma, vaguely fruity perhaps. Rich and powerful malty body, fruity, herbal, slightly tart with a boozy finish. Absolitely nothing in this beer suggests a Tripel, neither in flavor nor in looks. It's just som odd, big ale. 020419

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, warm orangey brown with a small, lacing, beige head. Malty, sweet nose with a roasted touch. Medium body, again malty, slightly flowery with a licorice touch. Clean and well made, but again the bittering hops are a bit overpowering and out of whack. 020419

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, orangey golden bordering amber with an off-white head. Fruity, malty nose. Medium body, fruity and malty with some very unpleasant phenollic fermentation flaws and a smoky edge. Very rough and brutal bitterness. Completely out of whack style-wise, but at least not infected. Oh boy, digging a little deeper, it's actually not smoky, it's developing Brett! So it is indeed infected.....280319
