A clear orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is lovely hoppy combined with some notes of hop oils - surprisingly hoppy for an ESB - I guess it is Cascade. The flavor is ofcourse sweet malty, but really more dominated by hops and hop acids, leaving You with a dry bitter note on the tongue. There are a slight nuttyness also. Jeppe bring more of this home - nice.

Pours a murky orangish-brown color with a thick beige head that retains the shape of where the beer was poured through. Thick, clingy lacing. Sweet aroma of malt and fruit. Rich body, and the first sip literally gave me the chills it is so tart. Lots of citrus and hops up front. The caramel and malt catches up pretty quickly though, making for a pretty enjoyable brew. The finish is citrusy with some pine. Overall I liked this one after the initial shock wore off.

Pours a straw color with a bit of a copper tint and a frothy white head - aroma of pine, citrus, biscuits - pretty standard IPA flavor, but it’s good - everything in the right places (crisp hoppiness up front, gradually making way for the solid malt backbone to make its presence known, finishing with a pleasant mix of the two, with a lingering hop bitterness) - this tastes a lot like my local brewery’s IPA (Blue Point Hoptical Illusion) - I would rather support my local boys, but this is tasty and worth drinking again.

This starts with a bright copper colored beer that sits beneath a tall dense head of off white. Moderate sweet malt aroma. The flavor is out of balance, bitter and thin bodied. Looks far better than it drinks.

[Vintage 2000, sampled October 2004] A deep red-brown beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with loads of overripe fruits as well as slight hints of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, wood, and overripe fruit. This beer has really aged well - and definately improves by aging. [Vintage 2003 sampled September 2004] A hazy red beer with a nice creamy orange-brown head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy which also includes notes of hop-oils and grass. The flavor is sweet is quite spicy and contains notes of berries, prunes, and fruit in the start, which in the latter part is being overtaken by roasted almost smoked notes, to give it a dry end. I got this one in my beer club. I am not familiar with the brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large creamy light brown head. The aroma was chocolate and roasted malts. The flavor is dry roasted malt and light dry chocolate. The roasted malt lingers dryly on the finish.
