Cask ale, half, at Euston Tap. Body was dark as the night with fawn-coloured bubbles at the surface. Dotted spots to the glass. Roasted, earthy malts on the nose. Taste of dark malts and dried fruits, moments of chocolate and figs can be spotted. Roasted bitterness to the ending. Fine bodied. Decent stout version (London 24.09.2014).
