330ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a thin, bubbly head. Aroma is bitter coffee, cocoa and a little piney hops. Taste is chocolate and piney hops to start. Coffee in the finish with berries on the aftertaste.

Cask at Craven Arms; clear straw yellow pour with a frothy white head, pleasant fruity hop aroma with a hint of pine, citrus taste pale malts, tangerine, quite pleasant for ABV.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100, CBC Clapham, 18/09/14. Clear light golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is tangerine, light pine, mango, mandarin, grassy, spice. Taste comprises light minerals, mandarin, citric peel, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Decent hoppy sessioner, session IPA style wise when contrasted with others.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours dark brown with a thick, foamy beige head. Mellow ashy roast aroma with dry cocoa accents. Light sweet flavor with lots of tobacco, wet ash, earth, baking cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish with some burnt wood, more ash, dried dark fruits and bittersweet chocolate. Fair.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a hazy straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light dry mineral big bitter hop palate and a lingering bitter finish. A very decent beer considering the ABV.
