The (not so) shit beer tasting at Leightons stratospheric flat. Almost clear dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and dry. Very light touch of dark malts. Light roast. Mellow piney hops, very light citrus. Light dry finish. Little dark malt lingers on. A bit wishy washy but fine.

Bottle shared at the Night of Garbage - big thanks to Colin for this scoop. Pours clear brown with a frothy tan cap. The nose holds dirt, roasted malts, mild grapefruit. Light to medium sweet flavor with juicy citrus, oily pine, charred malts earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous finish, oily toasted pine, grapefruit rind, a bit of toasty bread and ash. Not bad.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 15/12/13. Extremely dark mahogony brown with a thin light tan head that thins to the edge. Nose is roast malt, green pepper, dark chocolate, light chilli ring. Taste comprises milk chocolate, light spice, roast malt, green pepper. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, lactic tang and light roast in the closure. Decent number, good spice balance, present but not over bearing.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear gold with a light, white foam head. Solid golden ale. Nice minerality, dry citrus, some tangerine. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Clean on the finish, lightly sweet, with further dry citrus and minerals. Nice drinking.
