Ridiculously hazy yellow, straw and ray honey colour that is almost pure gold or even light brown without a noticeable head. Aroma of light citrus, hay, grass and a dash of flowers. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy, herbal and lightly citrusey flavorus dominate that show some soft sugars from fruit and a touch of resin with a light hay and earthy flavour towards the end. Aftertaste has a light astringent note from the alcohol, with a light dash of yeast and bread, but the hop notes and even bitterness at the end make this more robust than the initial flavours suggest, but citrus shows nicely as well. Overall, a pretty nice, very easy-drinking Imperial-ish IPA in which the hazier side shows stronger than anything lese, but some dry and grassier notes show through as well. Nice to sample and good to drink relatively fresh; Still, not the best from the style that I've had, but good overall. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Krisp Market (BestDamnBeerShop) in San Diego, California on 25-February-2020 for US$5,49 sampled at home in Washington on 03-March-2020.

Can (11/8/19) pour from Valley Beverage Company. Appearance is opaque, bright, lemon chiffon yellow grapefruit juice with nice sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong sweet candied fruit, sweet and tart pineapple and citrus. Taste is sweet and tart pineapple, milder acidic citrus, light lactose. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick, granular texture, soft carbonation, citric acidity and finish as taste. Overall, a pretty nice NEIPA. Spot on with look and feel and aroma and flavor are less well-travelled with the heavy acidic citrus/pineapple.

Can (10/14/19) pour from Valley Beverage Company, Sherman Oaks. Appearance is cloudy yellow-light brown with nice sparkle, few floaties, 1/2-finger width foamy off-white head with fair retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is floral, light fruit and dank. Taste is sweet fruit and piney resin over sweet caramelly malt (almost like a barley wine). Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, mild alcohol, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, age has likely muted the hops a bit but this is not dissimilar to the review below.

Can shared a Taphouse (30/01/2020) - pours a light hazy golden colour with a white head. Fruity and malty with some layers of citrus fruit, sweet malty, yeasty note, medium body, crisp and dry into the hoppy finish. Pretty decent for a Brut IPA.

473ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, a touch of lime, gooseberry, spicy overtones with a touch of mustard seed, mint, woodruff. Taste is dry, juicy, citrusy fruity and slightly zesty hoppy, biscuity pale malty basis, notes of lemon, a touch of yuzu, some orange, blueberry, marmalade, subtle sweetness, a tangy touch of mustard seed, woodruff, mint. Foamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Probably my first Brut IPA that clearly exhibits the idea and discreteness of the style: low hop bitterness, entire elaboration of hop flavours. This one is very clean and exhibits a plethora of hop flavours down to finest subtleties on not a neutral (i.e. sweet-ish), but pure, non-adulterating malty basis. Illuminative - good.

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and finely crisp. Light malts provide a light creamy sweetness. That brutty dry champagne grapey bitterness goes well with a little grapefruit peel. Touch of softer orange. Light finish. On the money, could be a little more complex mebbe but tres drinkable.

Gushing to huge, fluffy, dirty white head, not very long-lasting, over hazy orange beer. Fresh hoppy nose with some unusual aromas as mint, chlorophyl, and herbs. Bit of bananapeel, bitter orange. Bitter, again oranges, bit cheesy. As to the mango...? Mangopeel, maybe, the still green, unripe flesh. Again bananapeel, unripe banana, grapefruitpeel. Somewhat mineral, towards salty. Slick, medium bodied, good carbonation. Not bad in itself, but the mango just doesn't come out, more's the pity.
