Cask @ The Meriden, BHX. Smooth and fresh beginning, easy to drink with a nice sourness in the background. Grain and a nice ale body. Fresh and slightly sweet. The aftertaste is long, smooth with sweetish and sourish hints, grain and malt with a nice slightly bitter ale aftertaste!

Bottle [from trade with minutemat] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Bottle label says 7% ABV. Same beer? Dark brown to black color with a nice red glare coming through, average sized light brown head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma is lightly malts, nicely hoppy and lightly fruity. A hint of pine needles as well. Lovely. Taste malts, hops, a touch of dark malts, moderately bitter. Subtle but very nice imo. Like it!
