Keg at Brewery Club, Members Night,XT Brewery, Long Crendon, Bucks, Thursday 2nd March 2017. *Please note that this beer has now been re-branded as Snake Oil, however even in the brewery there are a lot of cans as above with the IPA details. Pours dark god with a white head. Initially I pick up a touch of toffee but then a citrussy element comes through, reasonably hoppy, good bitterness, dry finish, a little bit of bile on the nose (I get that with some beers, it must be one of the C hops that does this for me) Pretty good beer. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Keg at Brewery on the Club Members Night, Thursday 2nd March 2017 Almost black in colour, but there is a tinge of red that shows at the bottom of the glass, large creamy textured head that is also cream coloured. Roasty, with a dry finish, really dry, fruity mid bitterness. Nice, easily the best so far. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Cask, Gravity at Brewery on the Club Members Night, Thursday 2nd March 2017 Golden with a foamy white head. Hoppy, tangy a little cats piss, dry and really fruity. A little harshness on the bitterness front. It is the best of the bunch so far after having tried the coffee sour and the rum barrel amber. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask, Gravity at Brewery on the Club Members Night, Thursday 2nd March 2017 First things first I am not a fan of rum barrel aged beers. Pours amber, pretty clear, quite a malty beer. The bitterness is tempered by rum which rather ruins things a little, there is some spirit on the back edge. Ok. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov11 2.9

Cask, Gravity at Brewery Club Members Night Thursday 2nd March 2017 Warm gold in colour, the coffee seaps through you get it both on the nose and in the mouth. Well itโs certainly different, strange even. Itโs slightly sour, I have to say Iโm not sure that this combination goes well together. Fruity, tangy, ok. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8

Clear, amber colored, medium- off white frothy head, not too lasting. Aroma is of malt and caramel, medium- citrus orange and fruity hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, some orange candy, moderate- aroma of citrus, floral hops, medium- bitterness, dryish finish. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, bit watery.

Cask gravity at Merton BF 2017. Clear gold colour lasting white head. A little buttery on aroma maybe. A little simple and thin in the mouth. Some condition some peach. OK just.

Cask, gravity at Merton Beer Festival, Oxon, Friday 24th February Pours crystal clear gold, sparkling look, little transparent bubbles dance across the top, looks great. Fruity nose, a hint of butter, but then canโt pick up again, middling bitterness, tasty beer, really dry finish. Only issue is that I am not sure what fruitiness is in this. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Pale amber with a loose white head; fruity aroma, with some fresh summery strawberry; a pleasantly tangy berry fruit taste, with a light grassy bitterness; then a fruity, biscuit malt finish with a slight sourness. Very good, I hope this hop catches on.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. A light orange peel aroma. Medium amber with a fluffy white head. Initial grapefruit bitterness, which develops in to a citrus sweetness. Cheap lemon curd? Light bodied. Limited carbonation. A long but low key finish. Nice but restrained.
