Description
XT Brewing Co is an innovative, independent brewery crafting a wide range of exceptional beers. Our XT beers form the core range of characterful, full flavoured brews and our wild side, Animal Brewing Co, pushes the boundaries with new and exciting one-off specials. The options are as infinite as the natural world.
We designed and installed our 18 barrel brewery during 2011 and brewed the first full scale gyle in November 2011. The equipment was custom built for us in Burton upon Trent.
The brewery is on the beautiful Notley Farm estate on the Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire borders, with far reaching views over the Chiltern hills. We are as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible; recycling nearly all our waste products and our spent raw materials go to local farmers to feed their cattle and pigs.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 2nd December 2011. Deep copper with thin whitish head and almost no lacing. Spicy atoma, then fruity, spicy and hoppy in-mouth; some woodiness and a citric end. Zingy mouthfeel and bitter late finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of 4 Session Amber - Cascade, Bramling Cross on 22 Aug 2024 at 22:40 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Handpull at Craft Beer Co. Well its amber clear and looks marvellous. Quite a soft easy drinking beer. Best condition so far at this pub today. Ok bitterness. I mean its not going to blow anyone away in intense flavour but you know what? Its very decent. i like the hint of toffee and the hint of bitterness on finish. Good beer

Cask, gravity at The Honeypot, Oxford, 03.12.11 when stewarding for Mabel Gubbins anniversary longsword/rapper dancing event This is indeed really quite chocolatey and malty, also very smooth, some light creamy chocolate on the nose. Perhaps served just a tad warm, otherwise it is a decent pint. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4

Cask at Craft Beer Co on 30th November 2011. Clear amber with very thin white film and no lacing. Clean, sweet malty, slightly woody aromas. Very fruity liquid with berries, soft fruit and biscuit maltiness. A lingering sweet finish ensues, with clean maltiness the main feature. Zingy, light carbonation. Enjoyable pint.

Cask, gravity at Oxford Beer Festival Fri 28th Oct 2011 Iām not sure what style this should be classed under, but it pours dark brown, it is malty with loads of toffee and really good snappy hop bite. Bitter and a lingering roastiness, full flavoured, smoothing out, dark fruits showing. Likeable. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
