[ As Dancing Duck Round Heart ].Clear medium orange - yellow amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, caramel, pale malt, minerals - floral notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, fruity, pale malt, sharp notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141013]

[ As Dancing Duck Waitangi ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, pale malt, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, floral, fruity, pale malt, butterscotch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141011]

Craft, half-pint, house beer at Hand & Heart, shared with Finn. Lacing rings down the glass. Amber coloured body. Brown malty nose. Taste of earth, caramel and herbal hops. Short-lived malt-fruity bitter end. Medium to thin bodied. Okay (Saturday pub-crawl in Nottingham, 20.02.2016).

Cask pint (times 3) in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 5th March 2016. Pale golden pour, white head that produced some impressive lacing. Citrus feel to the whole thing: OK but a bit one dimensional flavour wise.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. Messy, white head. Nose has sweet, caramel malts. Pear juice. Light, peach notes. Taste is fruity sweet. Get some fruity esters, that isn’t so great. Mouthfeel is a little soapy. Light bitterness on the finish. Not for me, this one.

Hand-pulled cask ale at The New Zealand Arms, half pint shared with Finn. Fair tan-coloured head to a near-black body. Black malty aromas with a touch of dried fruits. Liquorice, caramel joined by a hint of pine. Roasted malty ending. A nice porter with a bitter twist (Derby 16.02.2016).

Cask, half shared with Finn at New Zealand Arms. Opaque dark-ruby body, beige patchy head. Brown malty aroma, hints of dark fruits. Caramel and chocolate flavours. Roasted bitter end with a dark fruity twist. Fine bodied. Pleasing (Derby 16.02.2016).
