(Can) Pours black with ruby hints and an excellent beige / tan head. Nice aroma - coffee, hints of chocolate and port, maybe a little ash. Good body and smooth mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Good taste - dark / burnt malt, coffee, dried fruit / port with plenty of bitterness growing substantially in the finish. Good stout with plenty of bitterness.

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Haugesund. ABV is 6.8%. Deep golden colour, only the slightest haziness, moderate to small white head. Aroma of citrussy and piney hops. Citrussy and piney hops in the moderately sweet flavour too, fairly well balanced.

Can. Just says "Pilsner", but "Nelson" is the named hop around the the top of the can. Very clear pale gold with a large white head. Aroma of crackers, gooseberries, grass, some buttered popcorn. 7- Light bodied, fizzy. Has little presence to support the fruity hops. Moderate to firm bitterness is nicely judged - just enough to snap. OK.

355ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm off-white head to a clear amber coloured body, spotty lacing down the glassware. Good looking, indeed. Herbal hops on the nose joined by a little bit of toffee. Mixed taste of pine, wood and brown malts. Dry, very dry bitter tail. Medium bodied. Decent stuff with session qualities. (Tromsø 17.03.2018).

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Beer Hawk. Pours clear orange-gold with a modest, creamy topping. The nose holds orange rind, pine, needles, dry pale mats. Light-medium sweet flavour with more dry piney bitterness, some orange peel, hay, a light grainy note. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more piney bitterness, citrus peel, grainy pale malts. Kind of basic, but decent.

Boks fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Gylden. Nesten helt klar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Ferskenaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken tørket frukt med spor av malt. God balanse.
