Bottle. Adnams Holkham. Clear pale gold. Foamy white head stays the course. Light bready malts with a surprisingly piny hop character. Light citrus notes. Clean and refreshing overall with decent flavour at the 3.4%.

Can picked up In Norfolk somewhere. Clear pale gold. Bubbly lasting white foam. Some light citrus notes here. Bit of salinity which I often seem to get with Adnams beers (maybe it’s a suggestion of the sea? Fuck knows). Anyway. Taste is light dry and light bitter. Not a great deal going on overall. Feels watery. Dry thin finish. Very much at the insipid end of the scale.

Tap at Birreria di Città Alta, Bergamo, Italy. Pours brilliant blonde, fully transparent with fine white foam. Aroma is citrus, earthy, but also giving a little bit the impression of a not-so-clean line. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium bitter. Final is average.

Bottle, for which there’s a separate entry but sod that. Picked up at the Adnams shop in Holkham. One of those you’re surprised you never ticked yet. Anyhoo. Malty with light citrus peel. Drinks fine.

Can. Admams shop in Holkham. Clear pale gold. Slim ring of white. Nose has a bit of a Belgian style saison yeast thing. Not too much else. Faint soapiness. Taste is semi dry with some bitterness. Thin and nondescript overall. Watery finish. Pointless.
