Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of fudge, bread, nuts and some leather. Flavour of leather, roasted malt, nuts and some caramel. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Sweet and malty. Well balanced.

Quite fine at this alcohol level.
A small glass with the dessert is enough
Shery feeling

Shared 330 ml bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. The ABV of 21.9% is the highest that a "beer" (or "wine") may have in Norway - if any higher, it would legally be a hard liquor / spirit, and dispensable in bars only in 4 cl shots. Dark brown to black colour, minimal head. Aroma of fusel and spices. Extremely sweet flavour, distinctly spicy, also notes of bourbon. The bottle is definitely for sharing!

Can from Gulating Christmas calendar. Nice malt flavour but unfortunately there is also a lot of vegetable flavours. This is a brewing fault and normally not valid for every batch, don’t know if I will have the opportunity or interest of try this at another opportunity so this is my score for this time.

Can from Gulating Christmas calendar. Exactly the kind of Berliner Weisse that I don’t like at all. Smells and taste more like a regular fruit juice than anything else. Sweet with some acidity, artificial taste.

Can from Gulating Christmas calendar. Standard macro pilsner. Malt, straw, nobel hops, medium bitterness, medium sweetness. No faults, decent but not very exciting.
