Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol, 9/7/2014. Deep brown with a touch of red and next to no head. Sweet, caramel and red berries, a hint of earthy nuttiness, and some uplifting American hops in the finish. Very good.

Draught at Akkurat. Clear copper with low carbonation. Fruity aroma. Fresh pineapple taste with citrus tones. Medium bitterness, rather short.

Cask at the "Summer of Love" Festival at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Amber with a ring of white head; grapefruit aroma; grapefruit and tropical fruit taste; and a touch of spice to finish. Really crisp and refreshing.

Cask at the White Lion, Aldershot. Pale straw with a ring of white head; floral aroma with perhaps a hint of melon; slightly sour, grainy, body with a pleasnt and lasting grassy bitterness to finish. Probably better if served chilled rather than at cellar temperature (on one of the warmest days so far this year).

Cask (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Copper brown in colour. Brown sugar, soapy hops, nuts and orange in the aroma. Chrstnuts,.chocolate orange and a hint of grapefruit can be detected in the taste. Very nice indeed.

Gravity dispense at the 15th Kingston BF, 16/05/14. Clear pale golden with a moderate white covering. Nose is light florals, citric rind, grassy tones. Taste comprises lemon rind, melon, bread dough, cadnied oranges, straw. Medium bodied, fiine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok GB.

Cask@The Prince of Wales, Surrey - golden to amber coloured pour with a small white head. Medium citrusy aroma and taste, some herbal and floral nuances going on, great condition, decent drop.

Dark brown. Toasty nose with dark sugars and a little bit of grapefruity hop. Mouthfeel is a bit slick. Taste is a little dark malt sweetness, a little bit of hop fruitiness. Fairly light example, fits with the English context but is less effective overall than the bigger interpretations of the concept.
