We pride ourselves on the craft of our brewing, environmental credentials, local distribution, local charitable activities and loyal staff. Widely known for our Best Bitter, our beers and pubs can be found in and around the South East. As a Regional Brewer we tend not distribute further than 60 miles from the brewery premises, however our beers can be purchased via our online shop shop.harveys.org.uk and at our Brewery Shop in Lewes.

Bottle at home. Great lacing in the tankard and a rich malt aroma. The taste is well balanced malt and bitter hops with a remarkable mouthfeel. Almost a winey/port flavour going on.

Bottle from LCB. Pours a reddish brown with small beige top. Aroma and of sweet malt with caramel, wood, some mixed fruits; not bad. It's quite drying and light bodied but not overly thin for a low alcohol beer. By the finish you notice the lack of booze and almost has a kvass quality to it although not overly sweet in taste.

Unusual sized 275ml bottle from LCB, well in date. Clear gold, small white rather fizzy head, some retention. Aroma has some lemon, straw, light flora, basic malts. Taste has light floral and citric hops with a sweet honey flavour which elevates it. A crisp modest bitter bite also. Light bodied with some slickness. From the look and aroma I was expecting this to be dull as dishwater but to be fair its not bad at all. Tasty light gold if a touch basic.

Bottle from brewery shop. I had to have this when I saw it advertised. The best classic ale brewery in Sussex, the best brewery in East Sussex and the best non-lambic brewery in Brussels working together - awesome collaboration. Let's see. Floral, elderflower aroma. Some pub lager notes. Flat gold look. Taste is a bit hard to describe and odd final profile that is very bitter in a cloying way. Not really sure how to describe this but disappointing it must be said...
