Nose is ripe fruit esters, peach, plummy notes, berry pips, hedgerow.
Taste comprises funk, grass, damp cloth, mixed red berry yoghurt, lactic tang.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic spike.
Tidy sour.

ABV: 5.5%. Cloudy - hazy looking with a medium orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, funk, leather, grapes. Initial flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic, finish flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and heavy bitter with a long duration, tart, grapes, wine - white wine, funky, oat, sharp, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191010]

22/1/2024. Can from Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours very dark mahogany brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is sweet brown sugars, roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits, cheap rum and raisin. Very sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Too sweet.

Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, earthy hops, pale malt, sweet malt, wood - citrusy hops, dry, hops bitter. 16/9/2023. Can at the Vojens GP beer share. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours black with a frothy beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, berries, ash, roasted malt, dark chocolate. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, quite fizzy. Interesting collab and complexity.

Keg at Black Iris taproom, Notts get together, 07/07/23. Black with a decent tan cap that escapes to edgework. Nose is mellow brandy, dried fruit rinds, dark malts, toffee, chocolate. Taste comprises chocolate, toffee fudge, rummy notes, light booze tunes, dried fruit rinds, dates. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light drop of alcohol. Solid.
