Optisch Eidotter, feiner Schaum. In der Nase hopfig, Pinien, im Trunk schöne Frucht- und Piniennoten, erst süß, dann bitter, süffig, lecker.

375ml bottle from Tavour. Opaque jet black pour. No head, just a scant tan ring around the interior of my glass. Big aromas of dark coffee, dark roasted malt and whiskey. First sip is bittersweet chocolate and espresso, quickly followed by the sensation of warming alcohol. Smooth and viscous mouthfeel. There is an underlying note of bitter espresso that lingers on the back of the tongue. This is a complex and somewhat intense brew, yet it is quite enjoyable if I do say so. Earthy, yet balanced. Yum!

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle brought back from my NYC trip. Pours golden with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of biscuit, grain, earth, dark fruits, caramel & malt. Moderate body. Crisp clean mild bitter finish

0.355l can from Beer Republic. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, herbs, honey and pine. Pours cloudy dark golden color with medium sized soapy white head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and herbal, following is grainy, mild tropical fruity and floral, mouthfeel is smooth but crisp, while finish is pretty bitter.
