Belgo Sapiens was officially born on August 27, 2015, the date the first brew was released. 15 years after his training, 15 years after traveling around the world, 15 years after the development of the brewpubs between France and Canada, Damien Demunter opened Belgo Sapiens in his homeland, a brewery with a strong brewing heritage and proud of its terroir.

Can 500ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Belgo Sapiens Polarius ].Gusher !!! Unclear medium yellow color with a frothy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, fruity hops, fruity malt, grass notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160709] 4-3-5-3-8

Can 500ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Belgo Sapiens P’tit Granit ].Clear medium to dark amber color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, caramelized malt, belgium yeast, sweet malt, caramelized malt - burnt malt bitter, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160709] 5-3-5-3-9

F: off-white, average, not long lasting. C: almost clear, dark amber to coppery. A: malt, citrus, fresh fruits, banana, pineapple, hint of gooseberries, toast. T: malt, hint of earthy tones, lemon, banana, lemon grass, caramel, nuts, medium body, good carbonation, perfectly balanced beer with prominent bitterness on the palate, very nice, 0,33l bottle from Pick Eat shop in Brussels.

F: huge, white, good retention. C: yellowish, light hazy. A: malt, corn, fresh apples, marzipan, grassy, hint of pine, fresh herbs. T: malt, corn, herbal, apples, grassy bitterness, hint of citrus grass, banana, medium body, good carbonation, not a typical premium lager but interesting hops were used, for me refreshing and good balanced beer, enjoyed, 0,33l bottle from Pick Eat shop in Brussels.

T: roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, cacao, dry grassy roasted bitterness, earthy, medium body, good carbonation, very good balanced and refreshing, worth to try, 0,33l bottle from Pick Eat shop in Brussels.

Bottle @ Pain Quotidien, Charleroi. Orange/amber colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, grass, bread. Light sweet, light bitter. Lively carbonation.

9/IX/16 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 21/X/?? (2016-1002)

Cloudy, no - more hazy - pale straw yellow beer, aery creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, bit sweet, spicy, coriander, orange peel. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish start, bit lemony, very yeasty, bit unpleasant, coriander. Aftertaste: some grapefruit, bitter touch, some grains, some rotten fruits.

Burk från Saveur-Bier. Skumkaskad ur burken men doftbara eller smakbara spår av infektion. En blommig citrusfruktig ljus öl som är väldigt svår att genrebestämma. Blond, apa, modern lager? Svårt att säga. Ganska modern humlad i alla fall med tydlig beska och bakom den lite bröd, hö, karamell och söta gula plommon. Någonstans ändå okej även om det aldrig är okej att halva burkens innehåll hamnar på diskbänken.
